Airports of Thailand Plc (AoT) is expected to launch an app early next year to increase passenger service at Thai airports.

According to Nitinai Sirismatthakarn of AoT, the new app will soon show information about flights, arrival of baggage and practical information about the airport. In this way, people will soon be able to see which toilets are available at the airport. In addition, the app provides passengers with up-to-date information about the availability of a parking space at AoT airports. You can also book a taxi.

The app will be rolled out in the first quarter of next year at Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang and Phuket airports. The remaining three airports of the AoT, in Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai and Hat Yai, will be integrated in the second quarter.

According to Nitinai, the entire project for the six airports will cost nearly 400 million baht. The AoT estimates that at least a million people will use the app in its early stages.
