Yesterday was the last day of the three-day coronation ceremony that made Maha Vajiralongkorn the new king of Thailand. In addition to the new king, the Thai people can now also greet a new queen: Suthida.

The balcony scene where the royal family would appear was especially awaited. In addition to the king, queen, the two daughters and his son also appeared on the balcony of the Suddhaisavarya Prasad Throne Hall.

Prime Minister Prayut read a congratulatory message on behalf of the nation, for which the king thanked him. The king said he was delighted to see the Thai come together. He was impressed to see so many Thai people come to the ceremony to wish him well. The king sees this unity as a positive sign for all parties to work together in the interests of the country's progress and prosperity.
