With an investment of 120 billion baht, it should become Thailand's largest private sector real estate development. Soon 60.000 people will be able to work and live there: 'One Bangkok'. This spectacular project of no less than 104 rai is to be built on the old site of the Suan Lum Night Bazaar in the capital.

The liquor tycoon Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi is the big man behind this plan. One Bangkok will consist of office buildings, luxury and lifestyle hotels, an extensive range of retail and leisure facilities and ultra-luxury residential towers.

The first skyscrapers must be completed in 2021.
