Last week, the Bank of Thailand began issuing the first Royal commemorative banknotes for the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

Thais can exchange the old banknotes for the new commemorative banknotes and many have taken advantage of that.

The special banknotes are also circulated by the Bank of Thailand for normal payment transactions. Anyone who withdraws money also gets the notes in their hands.

There are commemorative banknotes for 20, 50, 100, 500 and 1000 baht.

is quite difficult, isn't it, send it and then maybe not receive it, and has a value of approximately 1670 baht, is around 45 euros. and then the shipping costs that can add up if you want to play it safe.

When I look at the framed set like this, I see 2 notes of each value, so it will be 3340 Baht.

Front and back of the bill maybe?

I think only the backs have changed, so you only need those. Then it's only 835 Baht. 🙂

Where in NL do you live? I will be in Thailand until December 5th. If you live near Bussum or Amsterdam I could take this for you (good faith for your collection).

I live in Houten near Utrecht.
Bussum is not a problem for me.

If you send the bank notes in a brown envelope with a piece of cardboard in front and behind it, I think you can send it by registered mail EMS, do that regularly with photos to my mother in Belgium ... shipment always arrived. Cost price, depending on weight max 175 Tbh!
    Greetings

Would love to find someone who can do that
