A survey by Super Poll shows that there is a lot wrong with public bus transport in Thailand, for example, 33 percent of female passengers are sexually harassed, such as being groped.

But there's more wrong: 84 percent say they drive too fast, 78 percent say windows, doors and seats are in poor condition, 76 percent say bus drivers brake too suddenly, 71 percent say they pass stops, and 70 percent say they Tailgating.

Other complaints are: smell in the bus, too few buses on a route, stopping at random places and grumpy drivers. The complaints relate to the past thirty days.

Public transport by bus received a score of 5,75, so just not enough.

    well,

What do you have to add to this, I regularly ride the bus, but I have never seen women being harassed.

Then my question, which has been bothering me for weeks? where are those new blue buses driving, I never see them driving anywhere. You can't overlook 200 pieces.

    Greetings Nico

    This is practically unbelievable.
I once saw a Thai lady in Walking Street Pattaya who received a light tap on the ass from a man.
Consequence: Police attended and the man was off without much in the way of payment of 6000 Bath.

I've never noticed any pawing. But since this appears in the poll, there must be something to it. Presumably on overcrowded buses?

Windows and seats in poor condition: given the age of the buses, this is still relatively bad.

Tailgating: That may be the perception. But bus drivers realize all too well that tailgating will get you to your destination faster. On the other hand, if you leave a lot of space in between, other cars will squeeze in between.

Grouchy Drivers: Never noticed. Always silent. But considering this is the last 30 days, maybe they are moody that they have to continue driving those old buses, while new buses are blocked at the port by customs.
