On December 6, the extension of the Green metro line between Bearing and Samut Prakan will become operational.

For the first six months, passengers do not have to travel on this track for free. Bangkok Governor Aswin and BTSC officials yesterday explored the 13 km elevated route, which has nine stations and connects to the Sukhumvit Line of the BTS skytrain.

Construction started in 2012 and was completed late last year. One station already opened in April last year. It is estimated that 60.000 passengers will use the line in the first year and 100.000 the following year.

Even busier in the BTS trainsets. Don't know how they are going to fix this. It is already hanging and strangling to get a seat.
