A massive fire broke out this morning at a 10-storey apartment building at 18 Soi Narathiwat on Sathorn Road in Bangkok. At least two people were killed and five injured. There may be more victims.

The fire was discovered on the third floor and quickly spread to the upper floors. Several fire trucks arrived quickly, but the fire was difficult to extinguish.

A number of residents on the upper floors lean out of the windows and shout and wave for help. The fire started at approximately 10:50 am, the fire has since been extinguished.

Police helicopters have been called in to rescue people. Rescuers said the building's seventh floor collapsed due to heat.

A 2 minute video, with a happy music at the end.
Given the primitive infrastructure and the sometimes somewhat laconic attitude of Thais and tourists with regard to safety regulations, the number of fires is actually not too bad.
