Foreigner walks naked on busy intersection in Pattaya
A foreigner has been taken away by Pattaya police after walking around naked at a busy intersection in the city on the night from Thursday to Friday.
The tall European man was spotted at Khao Phra Tamnak in tambon Nong Prue. The man was offered pants by the police who came to look after a report, but the man refused the pants. Finally he got a towel and was taken away. No one in the area knew the foreigner, who of course also had no ID on him. He seemed quite confused.
Officials eventually took the man to Pattaya City Hall, where the mental health services in Pattaya will take care of the man.

Phra Tamnak, Second Rd., Third Rd., Soi Buakhao etc. are located in “Pattaya”, but as a postal address “Pattaya” has long ceased to exist. All of Pattaya and Jomtien are called (for the post) “Nongprue, Banglamung”. Even the address of the Pattaya City Hall in Soi Pattaya Nua is: “Nongprue, Banglamung”, so not in Pattaya! So Khao Phra Tamnak just like Nua, Beach Road, Second Road, Pattaya Taj and Klang etc. is just Pattaya, but only for the post it is called “Nongprue” EVERYWHERE.
