    Weird,

It talks about Bangkok, but not about Nonthaburi, which is part of Bangkok as an independent municipality. the two cities are totally intertwined.

From what I heard this morning, these conditions also apply to Nonthaburi.

How does Thailand intend to keep a grip on the virus if they do not have a clear testing policy, because my stepdaughter had complaints, a cold, fever, headache, etc.

We, her mother and I, living in the Netherlands advised her to go to the doctor anyway, she did, but he only wanted to test her for corona if she would pay for the test herself, costs 4000 baht.
She didn't have that money because her income has also fallen sharply due to less work.
If she still had complaints in 4-5 days, she could come back for a free test.

Then to think that she lives in 1 house with the whole family (9 people) then she can already have infected a dozen other people, because she didn't have to be quarantined either, they now also know there that you can already be contagious are without complaints.

With this policy I do have serious doubts about the medical knowledge and care in Thailand, because as usual she immediately received another 3 medicines, for what without any form of research.

En de mensen die nu naar Thailand komen met een negatieve test moeten wel in quarantaine worden daarna nog 2 keer getest, dus toch geldklopperij naar mijn mening, maar ja TIT zullen we maar zeggen.

Fortunately, my stepdaughter seems to be getting better again, so we'll have to wait and see, but with this policy they can't get it under control.

My wife just told me that the minister of health announced today that anyone with complaints can now get a free test in the hospital.

Fortunately, he responds quickly to my opinion 555555

Nonthaburi is a city in Central Thailand. Nonthaburi is the capital of Nonthaburi Province and Nonthaburi District. The city is located on the Menam River and had a population of 2000 in the 291.307 census, making it the third largest city in the country after Bangkok and Samut Prakan. Wikipedia

Bankok has a special status as the capital.

There is a good chance that a general lockdown will be introduced across Thailand on Monday. It would last at least until early February.
    Movements would also be restricted.
As I have long thought, 2021 will not be anything for tourism.

You can have your doubts about the policy, but not about the medical knowledge, just want to say this. Then for the imaging. If everyone with minor complaints went to the hospital for a test, this would become an unsustainable situation and if, as you write, it was not over after a few days, she would be tested (free of charge) what is wrong with that? I understand your concern but testing 70 million people for….. won't work.
