Curfew and 13.000 protesters in the province
The Thai government is trying to restore peace in Bangkok and other parts of Thailand Thailand. In addition to the emergency ordinance, which applies to 23 provinces, a curfew has also been imposed.
North and Northeast restless
Reports of unrest are mainly coming from the North and Northeast. After the military intervention in Bangkok, more than 13.000 protesters gathered in various cities. Barricades of burning tires, demolitions and government buildings were set on fire.
Redshirt leaders surrender

Today Veera Musikhapong, Weng Tojirakarn and Korkaew Pikulthong reported to the police. Popular pop singer and red shirt leader Arisman Pongruengrong is still on the run despite previous reports, Bangkok Post reports.
35 buildings on fire
Yesterday, raging fires were reported in 35 different places in Bangkok. The stock exchange building, a theater and several shopping centers including Central World were destroyed by fire.
The intervention of the army on 19 May resulted in a large number of casualties. The Erawan Emergency Medical Center in Bangkok reported 15 dead (including the Italian freelance journalist) and 98 injured.
