Sellers of famous Chatuchak weekend market are against the plan of the Railways, owner of the land, to allow a night market in the same place. The night market, which offers space for new vendors, would occupy the space now occupied by the daytime market.
The current tenants of the stalls at the weekend market think that there will be an overlap in the range of products. This is at the expense of their turnover. The sellers made an official complaint to Government House yesterday, asking the Department for Transport to block the plans.
10.000 sellers work on the market. Although the market is called a weekend market, it is also open on weekdays. The SRT will open registration for private companies to manage the night market on September 27.

The landowners want to earn money and love as much as possible and really don't think about the people who have their businesses there. The big self comes up again and that is a disease that resides in a considerable number of people and has a negative effect on society.
