Two Russians were seriously injured yesterday morning when they were run over by a speedboat. They were hit by the propeller of the boat. The two men were diving off Phi Phi Island. A victim must have his lower leg missing.

After initial treatment, they were taken to a hospital in Krabi. According to the 27-year-old mate, it was an accident, he had not seen the men. He was on a speedboat heading to a pier on Maya Bay.

The commander of the tourist police thinks that the skipper should have been more careful when he sailed to the pier. There will be regulations such as the placement of buoys to mark the diving area.

These also come to beaches of other tourist destinations, such as Samui and Pattaya.

How careful do you have to be if you don't see people. I don't dive myself, I can barely swim, but I do know that if you go diving you have to put a buoy down so that they know that someone may be under water.????
