Grand Palace closed to the public on December 1 and 2
November 23 2016
The Grand Palace in Bangkok is closed to the public for two days (including tourists). You cannot visit the palace on 1 and 2 December 2016.
The closure is related to the preparation of a ceremony on December 5 for the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. December XNUMXth is the birthday of the monarch.
Public who come for a final salute to the monarch in the Dusit Maha Prasart throne room of the Grand Palace can go there on December 1 and 2.

So that one time we can believe those men in suits who stand in front of the Grand Palace and say it is closed… 😉
(That will be a good day for the sales of the shops of the family of those men in suits)
There is already secretly whispered in the world that the son of the King will become the new Thai King on December 1
It seems to me unlikely that a ceremonial investiture of the new king can be created in 1 week without further interference from and from the whole country
Not a week.
Has been known for 5 weeks.
It would be simple and grand after a year (official)
