Entertainment venues in three districts of Bangkok will be closed from April 6 to 19 to contain the spread of Covid-19, Governor Aswin Kwanmuang announced Monday.

The decision to temporarily close the locations in Klong Toey, Watthana and Bang Khae was taken Monday evening by the Bangkok communicable disease commission. “If the virus spreads to other districts, the catering industry will also be closed there. "We are closely monitoring the situation," the governor said. The closure affects 196 entertainment venues across the three districts, he added.

The health ministry also wants tighter restrictions on other dining and entertainment venues in Bangkok and surrounding provinces ahead of next week's Songkran holiday after new clusters of infections were discovered in entertainment venues in the capital.

In most of the country, 53 of the 77 provinces, no special requirements apply (green zone). The strictest requirements apply in five provinces, including Bangkok, the so-called maximum control zones. The closing time of restaurants and nightclubs has been brought forward from 23 pm to 21 pm, and the sale of alcohol is prohibited.

Whether the Corona stops at the infected districts. Now you're spreading the virus faster now that people have to make excuses to go out. Another action by the government that has not been thought about.

Must be linked to movement restrictions as was in China

Today it became known that this is the British variant. It is still unknown how it ended up in Thailand. The plans for shorter quarantines in the coming months will be put on hold…

The most ideal time and circumstances for the virus to spread from Bangkok and the surrounding area throughout Thailand is next week.
Nice to drink sanooker with family and acquaintances in the country for a few days and a bit more, of course without a mask 1,5 meters and fever control or something like that.
We will see after 14 days, but one thing is certain the number of road fatalities will exceed the number of Covid deaths several times.

Everything is already in place. The numbers of journeys and road casualties will be the lowest of this century.

How do you get there with Hans, one more night's sleep and half of Thailand goes on a trip.
My stepdaughter and her husband and little boy are arriving Friday morning by bus from Nakhom Pathom code red now.
On Sunday my stepson's girlfriend will come by plane from Bangkok to Chiangmai, Bangkok is also code red.
And believe me both the bus and plane are fully booked.
Health Minister Anutin gives the green light to travel against the advice of many doctors and Virologists.
I have read that only the governor of Buriram wants to impose 14 days of quarantine on travelers coming from red zones, as he has done before.
