A 50-year-old Czech who was wanted for deliberately spreading the HIV virus was arrested in an apartment in Phuket on Tuesday evening. The man fled to Thailand in 2015 after being accused abroad of sexually abusing a child and infecting a number of women.

Zdenek P. was arrested and taken to the Immigration Bureau for questioning. The man had an expired visa and had been in Thailand since June 2015.

The police are now investigating the allegation that he deliberately tries to infect Thai women through unprotected sex. He was also guilty of this abroad. The man denied himself, he says he is homosexual and only has unpaid sex with men.

The man's arrest was at the request of Interpol, which reported that Pfeifer had known he had HIV since 2013.

The director of the Bureau of AIDS, Tuberculosis and Sexual Transmitted Infections advises his victims, as well as others who have had unprotected sex, to get tested for HIV.

Thailand has 430.000 people diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. Every year, 7.000 people are added, 90 percent of whom have had unprotected sex.

PHUKET: — Police in Phuket have arrested a Czech man who was the subject of an international arrest warrant wanted for knowingly infecting at least 15 men and a 15 year old boy with HIV.

Oh, so according to him sex with men in Thailand, it seems to me anyway that would be unpaid and if it can be proven that he deliberately tried to infect his victims (whether they are women or men), I hope he has a hefty punished!

There's someone just like that here in Jomtien. A 60 year old Englishman who, when you start talking to him, immediately starts to tell you that he has sex EVERY day with the ladies of the adjacent bars and does it WITHOUT a condom.
To my question "what the hell are you doing?" he replied that he was already over sixty and that it would take at least 10 years before symptoms would appear.
Frankly, he couldn't care less that he would destroy dozens of lives.
I stood up and demonstratively walked away from our conversation. Unfortunately, every time I'm in soi White House I see him again and give me a look of contempt.

    Best regards. Fred R .

In my opinion, it should not be that difficult to report a person to the authorities in Thailand, knowing that they are infected with HIV and are having unsafe sex. This is criminal behavior and should not go unpunished. So my advice to those who have knowledge of this is to report that trade (also with the people you know who have had sex with it) and this of course to protect all those people who may be infected by him or her. (can) touch.
