Consular office hours Chiang Mai on Thursday, October 4, 2018
If you would like to make use of the consular office hours, please register before 2 October 2018 by sending an e-mail to [email protected].
During the consultation hours you can apply for a (new) passport, Dutch identity card and for signing your life certificate for pension-paying institutions such as the SVB. It is not possible to request consular certificates.
After your registration you will receive more specific information about the location, the time, the application you wish to submit and the required documents.

Good service……
It would be nice if consular declarations could be processed. Stamp issue. The life certificate for the SVB can always be obtained here at the town hall. They should do this 4x a year and then including consular declarations. That would save a lot of time and money for the many Dutch people in Chiang Mai.
Indeed Marco. About 10 years ago this service -including consular declarations- was also offered. When an honorary consul arrived in CM (similar to the consul in Phuket), it was of course even better and the visits were of course cancelled. But alas, the consul called it quits after only a year or so and the people in CM were left out in the cold and able to travel to BKK again.
It's good that people are now taking another - hopefully first - step towards better accessibility!
