File photo Nan River

A British man, age unknown, was killed when the zipline he was crossing the Nan River broke.

The man used the improvised line with an old chair attached to it to move himself to his tree hearth. The fall broke his neck. His body was found floating in the river.

The man had lived with his wife in Nan province since 1998.
