What's wrong with Nederland24?
Dear readers,
I have a media box with (the latest version of) Kodi (18.1 Leia). Until recently I watched with great pleasure the hourly NOS Journaal and debates in the House of Representatives. Especially the weekly question time. Now for both items I get “Nederland 24 Error” and “Check the log for more information” and sometimes the message “One or more items failed to play”.
The NOS Achuurjournaal from the previous day does work, but that's old cake.
Could it be that the media box is outdated? I have version 5.1.1. from 2016.
Can someone help?
Thanks in advance,
Paul
Hello Paul, I've had that too, which is partly due to slow internet and the version 5.1.1. from 2016 it is no longer available. A constant internet is desirable.
Good luck Henry
All those boxes do not (yet) work optimally. And must always be updated. I have abandoned it and downloaded vavoo.to and am very satisfied for 399 baht per month. 1000 den channels and 1000 movies.
Are you sure you recently watched Nederland24?
“Nederland 24, formerly Nederland 4, was a digital television channel of the NPO. Nederland 24 was not a normal channel like NPO 1 or RTL 4, it was a channel that featured all theme channels. These thematic channels worked independently of each other and were known as Nederland 24.
Nowadays this channel has been discontinued, what was shown on Nederland 24 can now be seen on NPO.nl.”
Have a look for:
NPO news and NPO politics.
Hi Willem,
I think about a month ago. I had the problem before and then I updated the Kodi version from 17.4 to 17.6. Then it was fixed and I thought that with an update to 18.1 it would also work again. Unfortunately so. Too bad, because it was click and watch.
I find it remarkable that of the entire list, the eight o'clock hour and the youth news do work. By the way, I have around 100 MB of internet from 3BB. I don't need that abundance of foreign channels. I find Discovery via Mobdro and I watch my beloved Formula 1 via Hesgoal via the laptop and an HDMI cable on the TV. I watch movies on Netflix.
I come from the time of the black bakelite telephone with rotary dial 🙂 Can I also download NPO.nl on the media box? I know some channels require a VPN and I have one. (Proudly installed myself!)
Why not watch npo start
Have a look on aliexpress for IPROTV costs about 25 Euro per year.
All TV channels in Europe
Very good
