Dear readers,

Is there a body, such as the Consumers' Association in our case, if you as a consumer have a problem with a supplier? Issues such as non-compliance with agreements, non-delivery, non-return of deposit, etc.

Regards,

Simon

And to make communication with the Thai seller a bit smoother, here are the English and Thai texts of the Consumer Protection Act BE 2522 (1979) in pdf format. Save both files as you never know when it will come in handy in the future.

There is a Consumer Protection Act which I have successfully used 3 times in correspondence with companies on defective equipment. The stores are NOT aware of its existence, but if you send a complaint to the president of the company, eg Samsung or Central Retail, they will respond and the case will be handled by English speaking staff.
Thai do NOT do this. By the way, I would NOT know how to reach that organization.
But mentioning it turned out to be enough

    Simon,
There is such a thing as the food and consumer goods authority vppr food that is no longer fresh or expired. regular checks are carried out at the shop assistant.

For other products, I wouldn't know, the simplest solution like farang is to go to another store and take your loss. Fighting the beer quay is bad for your health.

Simon, you can contact the Office of the Thai Consumer Board.

I myself have a very good experience with this organization after problems with a life agent.
    Success!
