Does anyone know how we can arrange a visa for Vietnam from Hua Hin in January? We go there by plane (return). And what is the cheapest way?

With http://vietnamvisa.govt.vn/ you can order a visa for USD 17. Via email you will receive a document within two working days that you must show at immigration together with a passport photo for a visa on arrival. Processing can sometimes take an hour, so bring something to pass the time.
I myself have previously obtained the entry document three times via http://www.myvietnamvisa.com. This has gone smoothly every time.
I have also arranged a visa myself using the above method and it works very well. Everything via the internet. They did work with Paypal at the time, but that was created quickly. Fast and efficient.
Download online form payment and visa in arrival. Simple takes one or two days
You can also pay with your visa card. I do that every year.
Don't forget to bring some dollars with you at the airport you will have to tap another $45 pp. For the real visa. You can also pay with euros or Bath, please note that the rate that is calculated is not too good.
The document described above is a so-called “letter of approval” that gives you permission to get a visa on arrival at the airport. You will not be able to board the flight to Vietnam without this form or visa.
