Home » Reader question » Reader question: Villas on a golf course where is that and what does it cost?
Dear readers,
I've been to Bali for a few years via Bangkok and then finish 2 weeks in Cha-am. Now I want to go to Cha-am again for 2 months in January/February.
I read in the last few Thailand blogs about villas on a golf course, does anyone know where that is and what the costs are? It may also be a hotel or rooms.
I read this in a reply from Marcus on June 7.
Thanks in advance,
Aad
Hello Adam,
You could look for a villa on Palm Hills, between Cha am and Hua Hin, about opposite the Dusit Thani hotel.
There are a number for rent on airbnb and similar websites.
Black Mountain also has a number available.
Succes
aad,
Pinehurst Gulf
North of Bangkok on highway 1, coming left from Bangkok, about 2,5 to 3 km before the intersection with the 3214. I don't play golf, but I have had a few nice nights there. Good place with good restaurant.and swimming pool

Dear Adam,
You may be interested in playing golf on one of Thailand's nicer golf courses in the cooler North of Thailand. Then Santybury in chiangrai might be an option, villa for rent or for sale a few km away from the golf course, see ev : http://www.villa-doi-poei.com if desired including daily transport or excursion.
Also in ChiangRai, about seven kilometers west of MaeChan, are the Huay Hin Fon hot springs (tambon PaTueng). For about twenty years they were developed for tourism with a permanent geyser, a pond and bathhouses that have since been artificially pumped into the air. A few years ago, the by then rather dilapidated attraction was thoroughly refurbished. Right opposite on the road to ThaTon, there was still a nice resort with (at least when I had stayed there before) an 8-hole golf course, but I don't know if the resort and the golf course still exist today and what the current status is. prices of the chalets would be.
In the Palm Hills mentioned by James Quentin, the necessary items are for sale between 10 and 30 M฿.
The first house, of 21.5M฿, is apparently also for rent for 85K฿ per month.

I stayed on a golf course (2 x 18 holes) a few years ago.
It is a nice hotel in the middle of the domain, but quite remote, near Saraburi.
There are also villas for rent on the domain.
If I'm not mistaken, the name is Sir Charles.
Hopefully this is useful information
With another big compliment to the team of Thailandblog
regards
Paul
At Back mountain golf in Hua Hin you have a great choice
from cheap to very ( luxurious ) expensive .
This is Asia's number 1 champion golfing spot
you have an 18 hole once
and one with 9 hole
plus mini golf
and a nice water park at .
From the center of Hua Hin you have a daily free shuttle bus.
Just outside of Bangkok I can highly recommend Royal Hills Golf Club.
It is located among the beautiful hills of Nakhon Najok.
I've been there three times myself.
Beautiful hotel with beautiful views of the mountains or single villas also for rent for short stays.
All facilities and an excellent restaurant!
And not expensive at all, reasonably priced.
You will easily find it through Google.
I would like to thank everyone for their contribution
aad.
At Leam Chabang golf & country (near Pattaya) you can easily rent accommodation.
The advantage here is that there are 21 golf courses, all within a 20-minute drive.
Prices range from Bht 800 to 3500 for 18 holes!!!
Hua Hin is too expensive and too “small” for me.
http://www.laemchabanggolf.com/hotel.php. and also look at:http://pattayasports.org/sports/golf/golf-rates/.
Success.
Hey
