Dear, I have no experience in this, but I am very interested in Cambodia and Phnom Pen. I'm looking to go to Bangkok again soon, but also a 14-day trip to Cambodia. And if I like it there, I will settle there. May I know why you prefer Cambodia over Thaniland??

    With thanks,

    Norbert

@Norbert I've been living in Cambodia for 10 years and I still like it, why? The people here are generally a lot friendlier than Thais (I also lived in Thailand). For $300 to $500 you can rent a well-furnished apartment here. Apartments here are almost always rented furnished.

    moving to cambodia. Customs.
Only have experience with Thailand/Cambodia border crossing in Hat Lek. It's pretty smooth there. Brought a minibus full of furniture to the border where, under the supervision of a Cambodian known to me who, by the way, has no qualifications in this area, just a friend of the one I had bought this for in Thailand at homepro, they were transferred to large handcarts. They are driven across the border and hoisted back into a van. No one looked after it. Later I crossed that border a few times and every time I saw that image. On other websites, just search, I read that if you are already stopped by an official on guard there, you can get away with a little payment.
