Dear readers,

With reasonable urgency I am looking for a company that can ship my household goods from Thailand to the Netherlands. Contacted Windmill this morning, but they gave a quote of around 12.000 euros for 12m3.

If anyone has any advice, I'd love to hear it. A shared container is also fine in my opinion.

Regards,

Very professional, normal prices. A Danish company. Speak excellent English.
Have moved many times but this is the best yet.

The only advice I can give is that a container to the Netherlands is more expensive than the other way around.
Many containers go back to Asia empty.

Please note that sea freight has almost shot through the roof (from $ 800 to $ 8000 per 20 ft = 35 m3), and despite now decreasing somewhat (I thought $ 3250), is still very high.
In addition, things still have to be put in and taken apart again in R'dam, because .. a Less Container Content (shared container)

The loads have become x 10 in recent months! For example, now you pay 20 usd for a container (12.000′) ex China and a few months ago 1000 to 1200 usd. Ditto from and to the USA and Thailand is no exception. Maybe you should check out Vanguard Logistics in Bangkok, they do both fcl and lcl what you call "share container", even if you can save 1000 or 2000 usd. Good luck.
