Dear readers,

It's time to renew my passport again. Please provide recommendations for a hotel (including breakfast) near the Dutch embassy. Approximately 10-15 minutes walking distance.

Bvd for recommendations.

Regards,

Edvato

I can wholeheartedly recommend the Oriental hotel. This is next to the Dutch embassy

In my memory the Oriental hotel is on the river and not next to the embassy

Through Agoda you can easily see which hotel suits you. And if it is further than a 10-minute walk, there is always a taxi. Very cheap here. However?

    Dear Edvato,

Last week I was in Bangkok for an appointment at the embassy.
I stayed at the Novotel Ploen Chit, which offered an extensive, universal breakfast.
A few months ago I also had to be at the embassy and stayed in a hotel that was a little closer. However, up to about 3 times as expensive as Novotel, while the service and condition of the hotel was a lot less.
I think it was the Duches hotel at the time. They are undergoing major renovations there and are therefore a bit cheaper at the moment.
My recommendation is Novotel. Partly because there is an office next to the hotel in a side street that, if necessary, can translate, legalize, etc. documents for you.

    Greetings, Rob.

Samyan Serene hotel stayed here several times. Nice clean hotel. Also plenty to do nearby. Nice walk to the embassy and a few minutes from vfsglobal new location if a visa is also needed for your husband or wife. Nice walk around or through the Lumphini park. Also good parking garage for free, see booking.com
