Dear readers,

I want to open a Thai bank account soon, where I can debit the Netherlands during my stay. My question is which Thai bank can I do that best, given the costs and the daily limit. So I'm looking for a Thai bank with a decent maximum daily limit for debit card payments abroad and preferably low costs for cash withdrawals.

Who can tell me more about that?

Thanks for your help.

Regards,

Maarten

We have the Bangkok Bank and the old model debit card. This works at most Dutch banks. Costs 100 Baht per withdrawal. I don't know if the new debit cards work

The new model debit card from Bangkok Bank does not work in NL.
I have opened an account for my son at Kasikorn Bank, pin pass can be used in NL.
Don't know what the costs are.

Kasicorn bench. Internet banking and set the maximum amount you can withdraw per day. Costs 100 baht each time regardless of how much you pick up. You can withdraw up to 19 x 100 euros at once (if the ATM machine has 100 euros) and perhaps not at every bank. In Belgium at the post that goes.
    Success.
