Dear readers,

The fun at the AEON bank is over, just pay 150 baht now. Too bad this winter season with my friends 40 times that is 6000 baht you can do something fun in Thailand. You always see the banks win.

Last year I was also able to withdraw 38.000 baht from the AEON Bank, but that was no longer possible this year.

My question: Where can you now withdraw the most baht? And with which card?

Greetings,

Peter Yai

I don't know if you have a Thai account, but then you can determine the amount yourself.
I think standard is 20 bath and can be increased to 000 bath without any problems
Of course they want money in the account.
I once had a problem because I had to pay a hospital bill unexpectedly.
Have the amount changed by telephone and be able to withdraw 6x 20.000 bath in succession.

You can withdraw up to 20.000 Baht at UOB, costing 150 Baht.
You can have Maestro Argenta open in Belgium for 1 month, no costs, but UOB charges 20.150 Baht

Isn't there also a difference between pinning with a credit card and pinning with a “world pass” such as ABN-Amro makes possible?
In the latter case, the credit card company is not involved. and I understood in the past that such ATM cash withdrawals were free of additional costs in Thailand and in the Netherlands.
In Thailand maybe only AEON. and now not so.
Is there a double charge? both in Thailand and in our homeland ?

Greetings also to the editors. I think the reporting on the political situation is a great achievement by Thailandblog.nl. However, I believe that the resistance to the Thaksin leadership is now much wider than the so-called “established bourgeoisie” of Bangkok. The farmers are now also participating.
The Thaksin regime has thoroughly forfeited its right to represent social progress.

I have an account with Bangkok Bank and withdrew 20.000 THB today, you do not pay a "fee" if you withdraw money from a Bangkok Bank ATM

True as long as you stay in your own province. If you go outside it is something like 15 Baht
