Dear readers,

I have now received my second Pfizer vaccination (in Bangkok) and received proof of it. Now I would like to convert that proof into an international proof that is recognized by the Netherlands. But where to do this?

I can't find the Public Health office in Pattaya and the Bangkok Hospital in Pattaya seems unreachable by phone.

Who knows where I should be?

Eg thanks!

Regards,

Paul

    Hi Paul,

Pattaya is in Chonburi province, so you should try the Public Health office of that province.

Here's the Google maps link https://goo.gl/maps/mjRpd6Q6jxrnY7Kz7

No proof is recognized in the Netherlands, not even with the Thai passport, Public Health office of that province
If you have been vaccinated outside the EU or treaty country.
If you are in the Netherlands, you still have to have it legalized at the GGD in Utrecht.
With proof of vaccination + passport.
You can come by in person, cannot be done digitally or by email., with atach,
Talked to them on the phone today.

Public Health office of Chon Buri referred me to the hospital where I received the vaccinations. I called that hkh Bang Lamung and got the information that they DO NOT provide it.
I read elsewhere that people do not yet know how to pour things into the barrel.

The term international can also indicate that it is accepted in at least 1 country outside Thailand. It will probably be accepted within the ASEAN countries.

Have now tried 4 of the 3 places in BKK to get his vaccine pass but what a drama. Would go back Oct 20th.

-Airport (was on another website) does not respond to mail or phone.
-Urban institute: unsecured website that does not work properly. Waited until midnight to be able to book for new place. Didn't receive confirmation and again failed because you are already registered. Call the next day and nothing known, appointment gone. Wait again until midnight and try.
      – Department of disease Nonthaburi… fully booked until the end of October

The last option is the travel clinic with walk-in. Very far away, and recommend getting a queue ticket at 6am. Are then open at 8:30 am – 11 am and again at 13:00 pm. With a bit of bad luck you'll be busy for a day while I don't even know if such a booklet is necessary.

      Anyone have another tip?

I wouldn't go through with this. The yellow vaccination booklet is not valid in the Netherlands as others have indicated. So with an official certificate to do the registration in the Netherlands in Utrecht. Include all information that is required.

You can have this done in Pattaya, at the fish market. There is a Public Health office there.
You go there with your passport and your vaccination certificate with QRCode, make a copy of everything, pay 50 baht and you will receive the yellow booklet.closed between 12.00 and 136.00
    Succes

Dear Robert there are hundreds of fish markets in Pattaya. If you mean the market at Naklua on the sea and this building is located on a corner / intersection, then I have an idea where to find it. So maybe you could be a little more specific. Thanks in advance.

An insignificant addition in comparison: In the Philippines you can request the WHO-recognized traditional Vaccination booklet. This is indeed the yellow book and has the WHO logo on it.

    • khun moo says up

The yellow booklet is not accepted in the Netherlands as official proof of vaccination against covid 19.

The booklet is primarily intended for a doctor, so that he can see whether you need a repeat injection for e.g. typhus / cholera, diphtheria, etc. or whether you have already had your first 3 rabbies injections when you are bitten by an infected animal so that follow-up medication can be adjusted accordingly.

It is comparable to a printout from the pharmacy which medicines you are taking.

As evidence for yellow fever vaccination, it was once introduced by the WHO when yellow fever vaccination was required for certain countries in Africa.

As a blockbuster, it has recently proven its worth after a very dusty past.
