Dear readers,

We have planned a trip to Thailand in mid-December, definitely in a period with better prospects (it was then May). We planned a visit to Krabi, flights with Bangkok Airways, BKK-KVB.

Received an email yesterday that the flights were canceled, no information what the customer can do, rebook, or refund.

If I have to call the helpdesk from Belgium, it can be a long and expensive conversation, and I don't feel like it.

Any idea what we can do now? Would like to see my money back, by the way if it continues to evolve like this I will also have to cancel the flights with Qatar Airways. And the long-awaited holiday also falls into the water.

Regards,

Freddie (BE)

Freddy, on this site you will find an e-mail address and more information.

Bangkok Airways has a contact in Paris; just search the internet and you will find it easily. That costs less than a call to Bangkok.

This is a refund/refund. Then click on this link for the correct information, enter data and more:

Hello Freddy. I had also booked a flight from Krabi to Bangkok on Feb 14. which is still half a year (!) away. And this one too has been cancelled. I hope this is not a foresight to the situation there…. I have now used the link that Ger-Korat has mentioned. Now just wait…. Regards Jan.

Thanks for the tip, I'll follow up a bit further and check whether BA offers flights in Jan 2022, dream trip to beautiful Krabi now seems very far away.

Canceling flights with Qatar Airways is possible if you have booked the flight through them.
    Succes

      Hallo,
Hagro, thanks for the feedback, and, yes, the flights with Qatar were booked directly on their website, I still saved the commercial conditions, cancellation and refund policy of QA, nowadays you never know. Don't trust the airlines these days.

Simply send the Bangkok Air customer service an email asking for a refund. Their email can be found on Google. The flight number, date and the message that the flight has been canceled by them and that you would like a refund immediately.

I don't quite understand the cancellation. All domestic flights have resumed since September 1. And BA has been flying between Phuket and Bangkok for some time. Would check their flight schedules through their websites again. As you may NOT know, BA was hacked last week and all data is with the hackers who may be sending false messages. So pay attention.
