Thailand Pass applied for but no confirmation
Dear readers,
I applied for my Thailand Pass on November 1. After receiving nothing on November 4, applied again. Unfortunately no answer. My flight is Thursday KL 819 as Obviously hotel booked. I received a cover letter from ING travel insurance, which I added.
Can someone tell me where I can go for the question why I didn't get an answer?
The time of departure is getting closer.
Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Kees

Thanks for the tip! I also submitted the request on November 1 with my email, “hotmail” address and heard nothing further. Yesterday I repeated the application, but with a “gmail” address… today there was a message in the “spam” of gmail stating that I will receive the Thailand Pass within 7 working days…
I have also made the application and am going with my wife on the same flight next Thursday. I did receive confirmation for both applications. So sending it again doesn't make much sense to me. But it remains exciting to have to wait for an answer so shortly before departure. At least nothing so far.
So you can see again how big the mess is with the run-up of this system.
I read stories on what used to be called Thaivisa about applicants just like you who had not received confirmation just before departure, and applicants who did not leave for several months.
Applications were around the same date.
There was even a couple who had applied on the same day, where the man did and the woman had not heard anything since a week.
Nice reaction to this Thai web blog was, be happy you go to Thailand alone and you can celebrate without your spouse.
What you could do is take a screenshot of your application and go on a trip, if they start to act difficult upon arrival at Swamby airport, open your mouth thoroughly and hit them with their shortcomings.
Thais have a hard time if you hit them with provable facts.
That's called loss of face.
Jan Beute.
It is a pity that you see it that way, but I think it is possible that you do not see it completely objectively. Patience and doing exactly what is asked is the solution. If the online application has been completed correctly and the answers fall within the criteria set by Thailand, as well as the requested supporting documents also meet their requirements; THEN YOU HAVE OR CAN RECEIVE YOUR APPROVAL MAIL WITHIN 1 MINUTE from the
system and that email contains the QR code ThailandPass as an attachment, in PDF! I think it already works flawlessly but is as weak as whoever fills out the application, sorry
The Email address, Hotmail.com, is not supported by the system
USE… GMAIL AND GOOGLE CROME…. Immediate response...automatic response...that the registration was received by the services. I had the same problem. After 2 days I received my QR code AND you're done.
Thailand cannot (yet) send confirmation to hotmail.nl/com & outlook.nl/com use a gmail account!
Take a picture of the QR codes of each vaccination certificate and upload it in the designated place (just below the upload of the certificate itself). It even says that the application can then be processed much faster.
Got my access code within 4 hours.
I also made my application on November 1st and actually received my Thailand Pass last night.
As Jan said, with the correct QR codes, gmail and Crome will be fine within a minute. I was very surprised.
