Dear readers,

For me, the time of ready-to-wear shoes with arch supports is over. My feet are sinking in badly and I really need 'heavy quality'. I'm not talking about the pain.

I really need orthopedic shoes; handmade, heavy quality.

Where in Thailand? I live in Isaan but distances within this country are not a problem.

Thanks for your advice.

Erik

In Pattaya in soi chaiyaphruek there is a Dutchman who understands this kind of thing. The walker is written on the shop. Google “Food clinic The Walker” and you will find it. He can probably tell you where you can buy the shoes yourself.

I have the Walker's web site here.

    Thanks.

My arch support maker informs me that this branch of business is not getting off the ground in Thailand. I have a phone number I can call of someone who may be able to arrange this for me. If not, just have safety shoes/mountain boots sent/brought from NL and take 2 sizes extra for the insoles.
