Dear readers,

In 2016, after a few days in Bangkok, we want to take a cruise from the Laem Chabang terminal. What's the best way to get to the terminal?

I see that the east (Ekamai) bus line runs to Pattaya, but does it also stop near the terminal, so maybe we could take a metered taxi there for a short distance?

Your reaction please,

Elizabeth

terminal laem chabang ?? there is the new port of laem chabang - an hour from bangkok by bus or taxi - close to Pattaya at 100 km.

It sounds pretty logical to me to start a cruise in a terminal of a port, but maybe this is indeed very strange as Dyna suggests, but yes I don't have the wisdom either. The bus from Ekamai to Pattaya does indeed stop at a number of intermediate places, it seems to me that you should be able to get fairly close to Leam Chabang, I would call ekamai bus station 02-712-3928 I think they speak English. Have fun in advance.

    Hi,

We just came back from a Cruise, we live in Pattaya and this cruise departs from Laem Chabang,
do you happen to go with AIDA?
We have already been 3 times, you can also go directly to Pattaya by bus, from there you could take a taxi to Laem Chabang, 20 minutes costs about THB. 500,- but you can also stop as close as possible to Laem Chabang and then look for a taxi.

    Regards Coen
