Problems downloading app Mor Chana (Android)

Dear readers,

I am trying to download the app “Mor Chana” on my daughter's smartphone (Android) Samsung, but after entering it in the search box, this app does not appear in the list and I cannot download it. Does anyone have experience with how to fix this?

With my iPhone IOS there is no problem, the app appears immediately and can be downloaded.

Does anyone know if our daughter (12 years old) has to download the app herself on her phone, or is it enough if one of the parents does this? I couldn't find anything about this.

The Thailand pass must be requested for her from the age of 12, but nothing is mentioned about the Mor Chana app from which age this should be done.

Thank you for the responses.

Regards,

Ronald

For android devices you can find the mor chana app in the aptoide app store. https://digital-government-development-agency-thailand.nl.aptoide.com/app

      I have the same problem.
But all alarm bells go off on my smartphone when I try to install the app with that link. Are you sure it's safe?

Which alarm bells go off with you, I was able to install it on my device with Mcafee Lifesave without any problems.

I ran into the same problem with the K+ app from Kasikorn at the time. It also cannot be downloaded outside of Thailand. That is because you are known to Google as living in the Netherlands or Belgium.
Solution: create a second profile under a different name on your smartphone. For that second profile, you must state that you live in Thailand. Afterwards you can download the app.
A second solution is to change your country NL or BE of your existing app to TH. After a maximum of 48 hours you will be able to download the app. Keep in mind that you can only make such a change once a year.
Creating a second profile on your existing smartphone is therefore the easiest solution.

This is how I installed it:
    On your PC/laptop
search on google: e.g. 'Morchana app qr code”
You will probably find this site: MorChana – หมอชนะ – Apps on Google Play
    Open this one.
if you can install (install) then it is solved.
If not: right mouse button – “Create QR code for this page.” Create a QR code.
With your smartphone: scan the QR code and open it on your smartphone.
    Now you can install.
