Sending mail to the Netherlands but with normal mail?

Dear readers,

I regularly have to send mail to the Netherlands. I want to do this with normal mail, but every time I am told that this is only possible with DHL or EMS and then you pay 1300 baht for an envelope.

You guess the reason they give me, covid rules. And only these companies do this.

Does anyone in Thailand also have these problems and how do they solve this?

I can also email these papers, but if it is more than 20 pages it will be a bit much.

Regards,

Driekes

Driekes, I regularly send mail via the Thai post office to countries within Europe and also to Australia.
Months and that was really months ago my post was not accepted because there was no air traffic due to Corona but again that was a long time ago.
To France you have to count about 10 days before it arrives there and to the Netherlands it is a few days longer, Australia takes just under 4 weeks.
I live in Chiang Mai and don't have a regular post office to deliver my mail, I take whatever post office comes my way, even the post office in the Malls just take everything and don't tell me to go to EMS or anyone .
Good luck and don't be fobbed off with the story you described earlier.

Last week I sent a birthday card to my granddaughter, in an envelope: 45 thb.
    In Hua Hin.

At the moment there are no restrictions to NL so you can play dumb and say you want ePacket service and then it will arrive pretty quickly.

Envelope sent today. Normally with airmail with registration (100 Baht), then you also know where your envelope is and when it will arrive, but apparently this does not work now with COVID. Solution 1 with EMS around 1300 Baht or at the post itself they book your envelope as 'N ePacket' for 290 Baht and you have to state the value of your document as you would with sending a box. You can also track where your envelope is.
Go to the post yourself with a Thai-speaking person and they will help you there.
    Success.

Surely you can just paste 20 .jpg files into your email – or 2 times 10 if that's too much memory?
Or make a .PDF file or Word file?

Or send for free with wetransfer if the email file is too large
