Dear readers,

I have to send a letter in the Netherlands quite urgently, regarding eHerkenning (tax return). This cannot be shipped from Thailand at the moment, or at very high costs.

Is there anyone in Chiang Mai (or elsewhere in Thailand) who is going to NL in the foreseeable future and would like to post this letter for me in NL?
It would help me a lot, and costs will of course be reimbursed.

Regards,

Glass

This seems to me to be a typical thing for the Dutch Embassy. Diplomatic mail continues. I would give them a call, explain the matter and ask if they can take this with them. Good luck

On May 12th I handed in my envelope for “Heerlen” at the Hua Hin post office. Shipped by EMS. Costs 1,150 baht. That's standard fare. This letter was already delivered to the addressee on 15 May. The entire journey was easy to follow via Track & Trace. Please note: the tax authorities use a post office box. A telephone number MUST be provided on the shipping form. I used the number 0031555385385 for that. And that 1,150 baht? Think of it as an investment in depth.

It is indeed difficult with Postal address, but the home address is: Kloosterstraat 22 6412 CN Heerlen.
I assume that EMS will also deliver there.

HarryN, I think Kloosterweg 22 6412 CN Heerlen.

Another option is to scan the letter and send it to an acquaintance or family member by email. They can then print it and send it to you.

Another solution is to call the relevant tax inspector and ask if you can send the letter by email, given the circumstances.

My experience is that they usually provide an email address.

Unfortunately, in this case a so-called “wet” signature is required…..
So scanning and emailing is not possible, unfortunately.

Send by e-mail to acquaintances in the Netherlands. He can print it and send it by post.

You can send a photo postcard with your text and home address via the PostNL app. It is simply delivered to the addressee the next day. IF your text is long, you simply send several cards

Scan signature and place in email. No problem.
