Reader question: Which airlines fly from Bangkok to Brussels?
Dear readers,
Does anyone know which airlines still fly to Brussels today? This from Thailand, Bangkok.
Regards,
Hans
The 11 airlines listed below are allowed to fly to Thailand under the Alternative (Local) State Quarantine (A(L)SQ). They will also fly back.
Emirates: daily from Dubai with flight no. EK384
Qatar: daily from Doha with flight nos. QR830 and QR836
Etihad: daily from Abu Dhabi with flight no. EY406
Cathay: 4x/week from Hong Kong with flight no. CX653
Singapore: incl. 16-10-'20 3x/week from Singapore with flight no. SQ976
Lufthansa: incl. 17-10-'20 3x/week from Frankfurt with flight no. LH772
Swiss: incl. 18-10-'20 3x/week from Zurich with flight no. LX180
Austrian: incl. 18-10-'20 3x/week from Vienna with flight no. OS025

Flying directly to Brussels is not yet possible. For the time being you have to fly via the above cities (stopover).

I'm sure about Etihad, but do the other companies have any restrictions before boarding?
Directly nobody. But recently, Lufthansa, Austrian, KLM, Emirates and Qatar, among others, are allowed to transport passengers to Bangkok again. Those airlines also fly to Brussels (and Amsterdam).
Austrian has already indicated that it will not take passengers on the Vienna – Bangkok route (only freight). They do take passengers from Bangkok to Vienna (and possibly on to Brussels and Amsterdam).
The problem, of course, is the supply of passengers. That will be very low.
Let's pay attention, the question was: Which airlines fly from Bangkok to Brussels? And not from Europe to Thailand!!
Indeed, Hubert, people have read the question well. Anyway, on October 4 my wife returned to Brussels from BKK with a short stopover in Vienna and this with Austrian Airways (one-way flight at 535 euros).
Do you think those airlines fly alone? Would then be nice and full on Suvarnabhumi.
My wife came back 4 weeks ago with Qatar to Brussels (via Doha). So Qatar does fly to Brussels and I thought Emirates too.
On September 17 left from Bangkok to Brussels via Helsinki with Finnair. 22000 Bht for 2 persons, flight only.
