Dear readers,

Does anyone have any recent, reliable information when the Bang Pa In – Korat motorway opens?

The only thing I can find is from June this year in the Bangkok Post with the report at the end of this year, but that doesn't seem to be becoming reality.

Regards,

French

I live in Korat near the end/beginning of the route. Several viaducts still need to be completed here, as well as stretches of highway. That will certainly not be ready in the first half of next year.

Han, thanks for the info. That will be a few more slogs on the Mittraphap on the way to the North.

To be honest, I don't understand why it is not being opened up in phases, large parts are completely ready.

I recently read that due to phasing out and closing the necessary contracts and budgets for this, it will take until the end of 2022
