Home » Reader question » Reader Question: My skin needs a major overhaul (Pattaya)
Dear readers,
I live in Pattaya and am 77 years old. That can be seen more and more every day in the proliferation on my skin. Not a medical problem in itself, but the face also wants something. I ask you dear readers if there is an institute, center, laser treatment, specialist or the like in Pattaya for a treatment such as I am looking for. I have several small outgrowths around my eyes (bit of a scary place to release a 'cutting torch' on it, so I need a 'good' specialist. While we're at it, I may get several 'age spots' on my bald head is there anything that can be done about it?For the funnies among you…yes I tried cap and goggles.
My question is serious, it is good to live with it, but if there is something to be done about it then why not do it. Are there people among you who have already had this done themselves and have good experience with the practitioner?
Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Piet
I was treated with a nitrogen laser at the Yanhee hospital in Bangkok, but only on my body.
What I now have my wife do is to have the skin tags cut away with scissors to remove overgrown skin at the fingernails and I stop the bleeding with an alum stick, also called a shaving stick. This works fine and I would also dare to have it done around my eyes. Costs almost nothing and heals quickly.
Dermatology department Bangkok Pattaya Hospital
You mention various skin problems.
Have it examined by a good skin specialist, mapped out and whether there is indeed something there
is to be done.
An initial investigation at the Bangkok Hospital can clarify this.
Behind the Bangkok Hospital is a clinic that is also involved in this
In the Pattaya Thai there is a small clinic near Tuc Com, where they can also provide information.
Some "beauty salons" are more concerned with their wallets without the customer any the wiser
of becomes.
the derma department of BPH hospital is very well able to help you.
Ask for Dr Anna
Just do it. I also know someone almost your age who had that (face and bald head) done and has improved enormously! From a bit repellent at first to now fresh-looking.
I myself also had age spots done on my hands (3 years ago), some spots on my face and potentially dangerous spots on my back (2 months ago).
At this dermatologist, hospital in soi 4, North Pattaya:

Just call the hospital, ask to be put through to the dermatology department on the 9th floor and make an appointment with this doctor (a treasure of a woman and comes across as experienced and knowledgeable).
Will cost you around 8000 baht. Numbing ointment on your skin, let it soak in for 45 minutes, then laser for half an hour. Those spots near your eyes can almost certainly be treated well, since your eyes are shielded and the laser only goes half a mm (my estimate as a layman) deep.
With an SPF50 you prevent pigment spots and it is the best anti-wrinkle cream. Use every day against (day) light.
