Dear readers,

Does anyone have any experience or tips for the following situation. I am in Thailand with a Thai doctor who I have to undergo every 6 weeks. I am now in the Netherlands and have to go back to Thailand. The only thing missing to be able to leave is a fit to fly statement.

Normally, the attending physician issues this, but he is in Thailand. The Dutch doctor GGD or hospital cannot issue it. How do I solve that?

Regards,

Edward

Call Medimare. Send an email, answer 5 questions, done. Costs around 50 euros I believe.

That's right, email back and forth within an hour for 60 euros pp
Have used it 2 times now. You can also email directly [email protected].
Just mail no doctor seen. Please indicate departure date as it cannot be older than 72 hours before departure

Why do you have to pay for that? You can also fill in fit to fly for free, see here for more

      Willem,

This health declaration is a questionnaire to be completed by the traveler to determine whether the traveler may have COVID-19 among the members.
The fit-to-fly document is a statement issued by a medical professional that the general condition of the traveler is not an obstacle to travel by plane. Especially with people of advanced age, airlines require this statement and now also the Thai government for everyone who wants to go to Thailand.
So they are two different things.

Yesterday my wife's ticket from KLM was rebooked into an Emirates ticket for September 27, KLM had canceled that flight. Emirates wants my wife to take a negative Covid-19 PCR test, which costs approximately 139 euros, so the statement you show is not correct. a test in your nose and mouth you will be tested to see if you have corona, then you will receive a certificate so that you can take it on the plane, this is just a piece of paper so you have to have it with you at the airport in Amsterdam and they can then check it whether you signed this.
