Dear readers,

Received a letter from the Tax Authorities today asking you to fill in your Worldwide Income. Never had before. To determine your allowances or contribution that you must pay to the CAK.

What is this again?

Regards,

Do

Will, what I'm missing in your question is:

    1. In which country do you live?
    2. Are you entitled to NL allowances where you live?
    3. Which service do you purchase from the government so that you have to pay a contribution to the CAK?

Incidentally, the question is not abnormal; the worldwide income is a standard that is also used for assessment, including for the question of whether you are a qualifying taxpayer. But you are never that living in Thailand…

      1. Have been living in Thailand for almost 2 years.
      2. Have no entitlement to any allowances.
      3. Don't take a government service.
      I have state pension and a very small pension, € 40.= p/month

I just got that letter too. At first glance, I have to fill in things that I have already completed and sent.
As Wil rightly says, “What is this again?”
    I hope for more responses.

Found on the website of the Tax and Customs Administration, the explanation

You can use the Statement of worldwide income form to report your worldwide income to us. You will only receive this form from us if you or your allowance partner lived outside the Netherlands during a year and received an allowance from us, for example healthcare allowance or childcare allowance.

I got that form too, date sent May 21st and it should be back July 22nd?
If you don't return it in time, they will make an estimate, so either send it back or wait and see.
