Home » Reader question » Reader question: Company in Southeast Brabant or Limburg for a Covid-19 PCR test
Dear readers,
Does anyone know of a reliable company in Southeast Brabant or Limburg where I can have a Covid-19 PCR test done for my Thai friend and where I can receive the necessary documents within 24 hours, possibly together with a fit to fly statement?
I read many good stories about Medi Mare, but they are located in The Hague or Rotterdam, which is a bit far away. Anyone have suggestions?
And you have to count the 72 hours validity of the document back from arrival in Bangkok, if I understood correctly. So if you arrive at 14.30:14.30 PM Thai time on a Sunday, your test may not have been taken before 6:8.30 PM on the Thursday before in the Netherlands? Or can you reduce the time difference of 14.30 hours and have the test done at XNUMX am Dutch time? (After all, it is XNUMX pm in Thailand) Or am I thinking completely wrong?
Thanks for your responses.
Regards,
Toine
Otherwise, try the Ease travel branches at several locations in Limburg:
https://ease-travelclinic.nl/coronatest-voor-vakantie/
This company in PCR and rapid tests is only located in various places in the Netherlands, including Eindhoven / Maastricht, etc.

I'm at https://coronalab.eu/ been. Brabant test locations in Breda and Liempde.
test at zaventem airport 6 hours maximum
72 hours before departure
The site of the Thai Embassy in The Hague states: a COVID-19 RT-PCR test result (negative) issued no more than 72 hours before departure.
So you will count from the moment of departure which is on your ticket.
By counting I mean counting back, counting back to 3 days. Take a test 2 days before departure in the morning with a result in the evening. Then you have an extra day if the results are not in on time.
We have been to Ecocare at Eindhoven airport.
Result within 24 hours, statement in English, costs 105 euros.
Dear Tony,
Based on my (Thai) wife's (and I's) experience:
Thai nationals do not need to have a Covid test done to enter Thailand.
Do check whether the transit country (if applicable) asks for it. We flew via Dubai.
Dubai asks for Covid test, but if you continue flying, the requirement of the destination country and not of Dubai itself counts.
So my wife didn't have to do a Covid test in the Netherlands.
We have arranged a fit to fly statement via Medi Mare. My wife had to fill out a questionnaire online. A physical visit was (subsequently) not necessary. Check their website because for Thailand they have a special email address to request: [email protected] I thought.
Check what the latest requirements are closer to the date of departure. They can change.
The instructions in Thai for the Certificate of Entry (CoE) application (also required for Thai citizens!) (link via website of the Thai Embassy in The Hague) state exactly what is needed. Also regarding the 72 hour definition.
Hello Toine
Go to this site: https://ecolog-testcenter.com/
This is in Eindhoven right opposite the airport. Address 59 Airport Road
I am the Test Street coordinator there and also take the tests. We are open 6 days a week, but we also open on Sundays. I am there every day except Wednesday and Friday. The test center is open from 7.30:13.00 to 24:XNUMX. You will receive the results and a valid travel document in English within XNUMX hours. The test is administered by means of a throat and nose swab.
I think the test costs €105, but you can see this online. Can also be booked online. Good luck and maybe see you later. Happy Holidays.
Petra Manders
Hello Petra.
Is that also an rt-pcr because we need that.
Will we also get the results on Sunday if we come on Saturday?
Which cost is all inclusive? No additional costs for certificate or similar?
Thanks.
Yes this is all inclusive. Test result is automatically uploaded to your Ecolog account that you created when you register to make an appointment. But if you look at the site there is a telephone number that you can use to call, whatsapp and get all the info.
Thank you Petra!
This is a very good option for us.
Happy Holidays!
