Reader question: Enable agency for short stay visa in Belgium
Dear readers,
A friend of mine would like to apply for a short stay visa (visit friends) for Belgium for his Thai girlfriend. He would like to use an agency for this. Does anyone have good experiences with an agency, which one can you recommend?
How much are they asking for it?
Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Ronny
For me an agency is wasted money.
Getting a girlfriend to Belgium is not easy three years ago I also faced the problem first attempt refused second I succeeded.
Easy Visa Pattaya Klang.
15.000 baht. MONEY GRABBING.
This is correct, a waste of money
Already completed the paperwork 3 times and immediately received a visa 3 times without any problems
One simply has to follow the list of the 12 points completely and answer neatly step by step and attach the necessary documents
It takes about a day's work to deliver everything in two copies
Ronny, definitely don't hire an agency. Just do all the paperwork yourself (if you have any questions I am always happy to help you). But of course she must meet all the conditions. An alternative would be that she goes on holiday with an organized group, this travel agency then puts the papers in order, but then of course she cannot just do what she wants. Good luck.
If all the papers are in order, it's no problem, but ask for a week or 3 to 3 months without a desk needed
Our application, complied with everything but after SEVEN months, 0 on the request.
You can't make it without an agency, you know what the world runs on
We now have a lot of experience with this phenomenon Applying for a visa through Belgium.
Do not!
Apply for a TOURIST visa for the NETHERLANDS. (so a Schengen country)
Without further questions such as; where do you stay, who guarantees you, etc.
Your wife or girlfriend is going to the Netherlands / Europe as a tourist and is going to travel around and nobody has anything to do with that (make sure that there is some money in her Thai bank account of course!)
It doesn't matter that you fly to Brussels.
Good luck
Fred R .
For a visa via the Dutch, NL must be the main purpose of the trip. If the questioner and the Thai partner mainly go on holiday in the beautiful Netherlands, then a visa tourist visit to the Netherlands is certainly an option. Or elsewhere, for example with the Germans. Belgium is a bit more difficult, except for Sweden they reject the most (but all under 10% rejection, most Schengen countries are at 1-2-3%, B and S and slightly higher).
The file on this blog (download the PDF) will take you a long way. Whether it is a tourism visa or visa to visit friends/family, whether it is NL or B. You can do just fine without a visa agent. However, some still want to do it with an agent, out of convenience (?) even though it is you who has to collect the papers yourself.
If Ronny's friend is someone who is just happy to pay extra money for an extra pair of eyes (in terms of resuming work or the chance of being granted a visa, it doesn't matter) the next question is whether that agent should be in B or TH, and where? I would Google, step into one within traveling distance and see if I like the first acquaintance. If the agent says that without his company you can forget a visa or that the procedure is very complex to do yourself, then I would quickly choose the door.
I recommend the TSL agency from very good experiences,,,, honest and sincere with everything.
The office is located in the same complex where the Belgian embassy is located.
I am leaving for Bangkok on January 10 and will be getting married there.
I stay 30 days without visa application(Shengen).
My girlfriend or I don't have to worry and will because TSL will arrange everything down to the last detail and make it right for us.
The cost for everything is about 450 to 500 €.
Such an agency does nothing that you cannot do yourself, but if you would like to let someone earn that money: your choice.
Dear Baldwin,
You leave for Bangkok to get married there and stay there for 30 days.
Bangkok has nothing to do with Schengen, does it?
You enter Thailand for free for thirty days and do not pay 500 euros for it.
What the hell is TSL doing for this.
Before you are married you are already getting screwed.
Thanks for the reply. Also told him to do it himself. Just take your time and follow Rob V.'s checklist here on thailandblog.
But yes, it will be laziness.
I would rather spend that 15000bath in Thailand.
