Dear readers,

We are going to Koh Samui for 6 days in February. Now we had read about Shambala resort on the Big Budha Beach, but that probably doesn't exist anymore.

We think it would be nice to find a nice small-scale resort with hammocks and lounge cushions, but we don't know exactly where we can sit best, and we prefer not to pay the top price immediately.

Does anyone have tips for us? We would like to hear it.

Yours faithfully,

Anja

The Como resort on big buddha beach. (Bangrak beach) With bungalows directly on the beach. We stayed there for 2012 nights in 5, it could have been 2 weeks. It is run by a Belgian with his Thai wife.

We went there last year and found it very relaxing. You can enjoy delicious food at Mark's. There is massage and a lovely beach. With a taxi you can look up the fun both to the left and to the right of the resort. There are 11 bungalows right on the beach and there is wifi in the restaurant. The resort can be found on the internet.

We may also want to go to Saboey, because it looks fantastic. Now I read a lot of complaints on booking about aircraft noise. Can someone tell me more about this?

Jungle club is indeed beautiful in terms of view, since it is on a steep mountain, it is not convenient to stay if you want to go out in the evening, not all tourists dare to drive up that mountain with a scooter, they do have a taxi service , believe 200 thb, but of course it does not go day and night.

    They do have hammocks though.
