Dear readers,
Can someone tell me if Khlong Lat Mayom floating market will be open on Tuesday 19th July? It is then a national holiday as far as I can tell. I cannot find any further information to inform. We only have the possibility to go there on that day.

According to this, it would only be open on WE and public holidays

Thank you for your answer. I had already read this, but the question is, is July 19 considered a public holiday? If so, the market should be open.

Blue means: National Holiday (so not regional or only for the government).

Yes, July 19 is a national holiday (a Buddhist day in this case) because I have a day off. Monday, July 18 is not a real public holiday, but Kuhn Prayut also gave all civil servants the day off. I doubt if the market will be open then. As a rule, the floating markets are open on weekday holidays, but there are fewer stalls because the stall holders are also on other markets. For some that is nice, others prefer a full market.
I do indeed expect the market to be open on July 19 due to the Thai holiday. It is not a floating market, because it is located on a very small canal. The market opens around 8 am and an hour later it is usually very busy. You can eat delicious food there, although the prices keep going up.
