House for wintering in Thailand
Dear readers,
Next winter our house in The Hague will be renovated and we will have to live somewhere else for about 3 months. We think it would be very nice to spend these months in Thailand. But how do we get a house?
We are looking for a furnished house with 2 bedrooms and a swimming pool.
Who has tips? Thank you in advance!
Regards,
Til and Aad

It's not that complicated is it?
Google on renting a house in Pattaya, Jomtien, Bangkok etc.
There is then a huge choice and for very reasonable rental prices per month.
Laem mae phim (beyond rayong and before klaen) rents out several condominiums to a Dutchman.
The coastal strip is known as a wintering place for retired Swedish people.
There are a few fine western restaurants and the area is nice and quiet, no nightlife.
So it is not a pattaya with many young ladies.
The Dutch retired owner also owns the restaurant Tequila Sunrise,
The cook is German and English will get you a long way.

good luck.
Hi Til and Aad,
Do you want to live quietly or busier?
Where we live in winter it is fairly quiet, but easy travel to busier places.
Pattaya 1 hour by taxi, Bangkok 2 hours.
Pattaya airport also hour, many options.
Slightly more expensive to rent, but…..
Apartment in JOMTIEN, 8th floor, 2 bedrooms, large living room, European kitchen, 2 showers, large balcony, TVs, air conditioners, large swimming pool, fully equipped, close to the [email protected]
Also a lot of offers on facebook.
Type in: city, rent house (apartment).
Hallo,
You may wish to buy something there. There is a beautiful house for sale in Udon Tani. Maybe you look forward to that.

AD condominium 50m2 studios from 9000thb per year! The same broker also has a number of places in Hyde Park 2 residence 100m2 from 20000 per year.
9000THB 'per year' and '20.000THB per year' ???? What bridge is that under???
Must have been a month I think.
I am speaking factually and not pouring my opinion here. Unfortunately, even at these prices, everything is still 70-80% empty. These are serviced apartment complexes with 1 or 2 swimming pools and not under a bridge. Google is your friend.
Google is indeed your friend, pricing from 8.000-20.000 a month, just like Addie says.

Dear Kammie, if you have other information, please use the link that goes with it. Thanks in advance.
A price “Based on 1 year rental term” means something different than the price per year….
There is nothing empty anywhere for 9k-20k per year 🙂
Hello, we have a nice apartment for rent in Patong Beach (Phuket). Send an email if interested.

Make a list of what you want. Do you want to eat only Thai food or a slice of cheese every now and then? Just rice or a nice sandwich or potato? Rent a car or everything within walking distance? By the sea or does it not matter? There are beautiful houses for rent in Thailand, the lonelier the cheaper. Remember that it is hot and walking with a full shopping bag is no fun. Outside the center of a place there are no sidewalks, so you walk on the street. In Bangkok you have everything at hand, but it is terribly busy and more expensive. The Isaan is cheap, but lonely. 3 months is long enough to delve into it. Good luck.
