Bringing a dog to Thailand?

Dear readers,

We want to travel in early 2022 for a minimum stay of 3 months in Thailand. We would like to bring our small dog. At the beginning of the Corona pandemic, the required import permit for the dog was dropped. It was not known when this would be possible again. We are trying to find out through the Thai embassy in NL, but by telephone and e-mail this has not yet been successful.

Does anyone know if a dog can come along again and under what conditions?

Regards,

Eduard

You can certainly take your dog with you, here one is sleeping wonderfully in her Thai basket. Flew early November.
Thai customs issues the import permit. So you have to email and / or call there.
All information is available on the Licg website.

And of course inform your airline.
    Succes

First all vaccinations, "passport" dog drawn up at the vet, One day before departure, have the vet declare that the dog is healthy. Buying a bench pay attention to the dimensions set by the airline. Let the dog get used to the crate for an hour every day and then extend it to, for example, 4 hours or let it sleep in the crate at night. Learn to drink from a bottle if necessary. Contact Buza about additional instructions.
