Dear readers,

How do KLM flights KL803 to Bangkok/Manila work? These depart at 20.45 pm. You should then be present at Schiphol at 17.45 pm. Is it manageable or is it chaos?

Anyone recent experience with this?

Regards,

Peter

Yesterday (26/06) flew kl803, was 4 hours before, check in / drop off luggage 1st paper check about 40/45min. Security maybe 10/15min.
Passport 5 min. So just over an hour and in the lounge, then temp and paper check again: 10 min. Everything pretty fast for me, so it wasn't too bad. 4 hours was more than enough for me.
    Good luck / huib

I traveled to Bangkok on Saturday June 4th with this flight. Had taken into account long waiting times at check-in and security, but that was not too bad. 30 minutes or. 20 minutes. No chaos at boarding . Flight went fine

    Hi Peter,

Last Thursday, June 16, I was on the same flight number from Amsterdam to Bangkok.

I was there at 18.15 pm and there was no chaos to be seen. Queues moved quickly and I never stood in line for more than 5 minutes anywhere.

We flew business class and used Sky Priority, but the normal queues did not look extreme either.

I flew a little longer ago; during the May holidays (!), even then no chaos or extremely long waiting times.

Today chaos has taken flight, never experienced before. Apparently the staff didn't know what to say either. 3.5 hours in advance and just at check-in time at the gate. Then the flight was delayed by 90 minutes because the luggage was late. In short, no fun. But now we are happy that we are in Thailand.
