Dear readers,

I will stay in my country of residence Belgium until April 15, 2022 and will stay in Thailand for 16 months from April 10 (with the permission of the Belgian authorities). In Belgium I received my vaccine, Johnson and Johnson, on July 8 last year, so only one injection.

If I want to fly back to Thailand in April, I have to meet the vaccination requirements of Thailand. My question is what should I take in Thailand now in combination with Johnson and how many injections should I have? I can't find that related to my situation on the internet. Have of course already downloaded Mor Prom.

I read about boosters but in my case I get lost.

Who can guess, thanks in advance.

Regards,

Wim

Why don't you take a booster in Belgium. I think you qualify for that given the time after your vaccination. Mor prom is only for Thai vaccinations. You cannot import your Belgian vaccinations. But the EU international vaccination certificates and even the EU QR code are accepted.

Wim, 1 dose of Janssen is sufficient for Thailand.

However, it is important not to have your last vaccination older than 9 months.
This is an EU standard and useful if you want to go back.

If I were you I would take a booster before you travel to Thailand in April. Thailand has no specific preference. The vaccines commonly used in Belgium are accepted.

Thanks Eddy, that's my question, what is a booster here. Just once AstraZeneca?

just follow the advice of the local Belgian medical authorities. He also knows your vaccination history.
