Reader Question: What about cash machines (ATM) on Koh Lipe?
Dear readers,
Can someone tell us the current state of the situation regarding the presence of ATMs/ATMs on the island of Koh Lipe?
We have been informed that there are now 4 ATMs, but there is no certainty about this. We will be staying on Koh Lipe from February 2 to February 16, 2015.

Yes, there are now 4 ATM ATMs of “Krungsri” bank on the island.
1 at the 7/11
1 at Pooh bar
1 Harmony hotel
1 in front of “oceanpro divers”
The bank is not there yet but is under construction

Damn, just been there. Plenty of ATMs and I've never seen them empty.
So that's new to me.last time I was there in 2013 there wasn't one yet!
In February there was only 1 ATM left on Lipe and always empty,
Sometimes it took up to 3 days before it was filled
been there recently and confirm the locations mentioned above. There are currently 4 and have had no problem weighing "empty".
