Reader question: Where can I work out in Pattaya?
Dear readers,
I want to go to the gym in Pattaya or Jomtien. Who has experience with a good gym?
Tony's is too old and the Marriot's is too expensive, so I look for alternatives. Do you know other options?
Good price with good training equipment and supervisors, hygiene and facilities…?
Regards,
Henk
Fairtex Pattaya Nua just before Lotus on the left side of the road coming from Dolphin Roundabout.
As of early September.Better Bodies in Sompong Condo .Ban ampur soi 26 Sukumvit
It strikes me that reader questions regularly appear on the blog, the answer to which is in your own hands. If the questioner were to consult Google with the question “fitness Pattaya” then addresses would follow in abundance.
That's right Mia, but a tip from a reader is of course worth more than a gym website, which is always an advertising story. That is also the reason why, for example, hotel reviews are so popular.
It is always best to try out a few gyms by paying per day before taking out a long-term subscription.
In Jomtien, at the end of soi 7, there is a small market. There is a gym there, but I don't know if it is any good. I do know that it is busy
An acquaintance of mine goes to the muay thai school, he is quite on the penny.
But a condition that you get, you have to work out quite a bit for that.
You can also google for Universe gym Pattaya and look at their website.
Sit on Sukhumvit Road Pattaya Klang.
Hello.
@ Hank.
At Pattaya Thai there is a big one, if you come from Sukhumvit Road on your left… there are more than 100 aircraft, but I cannot tell you more about it… a little before the traffic lights towards Tucom…
And in any case, a lot of customers come to Tony on Soi Buakhao every day!…
Mvg… Rudy…
Dear Henk,
I agree with you that Tony's is too old, the equipment is not maintained and it is dirty. Although you can work out for 69 baths per day or take a lifetime. Those lifetimes are not recommended, because tomorrow they will be closed. Just clean up and your money is gone, that's how I experienced it at California wow!
I don't agree that Mariott is too expensive
per week 2000 =+/-300 per day
per month 5350= +/- 178 per day
but you get something for that,
*a large and small towel and bottle of water upon arrival
* you have a locker, you can also leave your valuables at the reception in a closed safe.
*if you arrive before 9am you can have breakfast, although only oatmeal, but there is coffee, milk and tea to your liking
*alternately one day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., the other day from 18 p.m. to 21 p.m., a salad bar (also simple), or freshly squeezed fruit juice or smoothie, as much as you want.
*there are various classes you can participate in
* you can use the swimming pool and sauna
* use of tennis court, AFTER appointment.
* you can enjoy free coffee/tea and fresh fruit all day long
You call that expensive? And 1 pint in a dancing costs the same, just a few sips and away
Many spend a lot of money on drinks and women in Pattaya, 180 bath for a day as described above is WAY too expensive, good food also costs them too much.
Everyone has to decide for themselves of course
Hi Henk, as Jan says, Fairtex is very good. Also water, fruit juice, towels, etc.… free + sauna and swimming pool and sports fields. It's not cheap either, but they do have offers. My wife was very satisfied with it. Good luck
A new gym has opened in soi 54, side street Suhkumvitroad.
A modern building that cannot be missed. In addition to cardio, many other sports machines.
In addition, classes such as spinning, steps, aerobatic, etc. take place during the week.
Sincerely,
Lodewijk
yes in Jomtien second road good gym but located next to a bar, at least if that is not a problem for you.
Perhaps it is http://www.thecastra.com/ what for you. Good luck!
