Experiences with foreign arrivals in Krabi?
Dear readers,
On January 8, it was reported that the Sandbox program was being expanded to Krabi. The question arose whether you could fly to that destination or via BKK.
On January 10, there is an update on Raf van Kerckhove's blog stating that this would soon be clarified. I read further on the blog that RAF van Kerckhove will fly to Phuket next week with Swiss Air.
By the way, I wish him a pleasant flight and a good stay in Phuket. With the invitation to post a report about this, because I plan the same route. Unless it would be clear in the meantime whether we are also allowed to fly to Krabi (via BKK).
Are there perhaps also experiences with foreign arrivals in Krabi?

Meanwhile, Krabi Sandbox is in use and some adjustments to the guidelines have already been made.
For example, it is now possible to fly directly to Krabi (with a possible stopover outside Thailand). So via Bangkok impossible.

In any case, there are many hurdles to take to obtain a Thailand pass… I was therefore happy that I was able to download the QR code yesterday.
Some important notes : If possible, try to book a hotel and transport (can also do chosen hotel) where cancellation is possible without costs.
After all, the first time I had booked a Sha++ approved hotel (on Booking.com), but this hotel was not on the list to choose from in the declaration to obtain a Thailand pass.
Fortunately, the hotel was canceled and other hotels were listed from the Thailandpas declaration and the hotel was selected and booked. There also arranged SHA ++ transport to the hotel and .. first taxi cancelled.
Upload data almost all in Jpeg format – not PDF – , except 1 (I think proof of payment 2 PCT Tests).
Wednesday, January 12 at 20:30 pm Thailand pass declaration closed and received Qr code (in e-mail message) on Wednesday morning.

There is a page somewhere on the TAT site that states that for sandboxes in Phang-Nga & Krabi, the sandbox must be flown into Phuket.
ps there are flights directly to Krabi from Singapore (with scoot)
